Q1' is Done! Stock Managers Scramble! | Midday Market Minute | 3.31.22

Posted: April 4, 2022, 6:43 p.m.

It's the last day of Q1 2022! We have seen a massive momentum move up over the past few weeks in equities, as managers attempt to double down for returns. The new quarter brings new ideas, a possible momentum shift, as a backtest would be considered healthy for this rally. All technical support and resistance levels are highlighted in our Morning Express Daily Research! (https://www.bluelinefutures.com/post/eagle-eyed-looking-ahead-morning-express-3-31-22) Crude Oil is working higher, around $103 as of writing, but this is well off of session lows. News of a massive SPR release (180m barrels, 1m per day) may subdue prices in the near term and get some votes going into midterms, but we don't think this Primary Trend is over just yet (think 6-9 months out) Along with Crude, we were not just bullish Gold and Silver due to Russia/Ukraine. Our bias was presented last year, with the geo-political tensions pushing gains past expectations. Consolidation is beneficial here. Will Gold catch a bid into the weekend with shorts still concerned about Russia? Don't forget about Non-Farm Payrolls tomorrow!!
