Fundamental Snapshot
Flash Sale
Breaking: Private exporters reported sales of 228,606 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to Mexico during the 2022/2023 marketing year.
Weather
A much-needed rain shower of hit parts of Nebraska and Iowa. Though it may be too little too late for corn, it's better late than never for the soybeans. The conversation around weather will be shifting to South America in the coming weeks as they begin planting.
Export Inspections
Yesterday's weekly export inspections report for corn came in at 538,406 metric tons, a notch below last week and well below the 792,596 for the same week last year. Soybean inspections were 744,571 metric tons and wheat was 373,227 metric tons.
China
China continues to be a big risk factor for the grain markets on two fronts. The first being their slowing economy which could have a big impact on demand. The second being their posturing with regards to Taiwan.

Wheat
December Chicago wheat continues to be mostly rangebound as the market attempts to carve out a low. With the market right smackdab in the middle of the risk-range, there isn't a whole lot of conviction on either side, keeping our bias at Neutral.
